HISPASAT provides satellite capacity (MHz) while operators look after deploying the required infrastructure to provide the service.

In addition to space capacity, HISPASAT offers managed services platforms that allow clients to offer the connectivity service without the need to deploy additional infrastructure.

The platforms operated by HISPASAT can offer high-performance managed capacity services. This is a Virtual Network Operator (VNO) solution in which:

• The customer acts as a VNO and remotely accesses the HISPASAT platform to automatically provide its services to end users.
• HISPASAT, acting as a Hosting Network Operator (HNO), sells dedicated capacity (broadband slots in Mbps).
• The end-user terminals are the customer’s responsibility, and they can buy, install, maintain and register them on platforms.

This VNO model allows the customer to define the products which are offered to the end user, allowing the customer to define the services that best suit their demand in a flexible and independent manner. The customer can modify different parameters on the terminal and the VNO slot through the portal enabled for that purpose.
